Overview
Stellaris Corporation, based in Nashua, New Hampshire, develops ClearPower, an electricity-generating insert for insulated glass windows. Bi-facial crystalline silicon solar cells are oriented horizontally between the panes, so the window stays visually clear while generating power on the building's own facade. ClearPower was named an Editor's Pick in Architectural Record's 2024 Products of the Year, and its electricity production has been documented by the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
IQ Edison introduces ClearPower to building owners, developers and architects across the Energy Optimization Ecosystem, adding on-site generation to the building envelope. We work with Stellaris to identify qualified projects and window fabrication partners.
