Overview
Runwise is a New York-based building technology company, founded in 2010 as Heat Watch and rebranded as Runwise in 2021. Its platform pairs a heat computer and wireless sensor network with software that controls boilers and cooling systems, so buildings condition only as much as occupants need. Runwise reports more than 10,800 buildings on its platform and supports owners working toward NYC Local Law 97 compliance.
IQ Edison introduces Runwise to building owners and operators whose central plants are ready for smarter controls, and works with the Runwise team to qualify the right buildings. Runwise complements Roof Down EOS™ by optimizing heating and cooling plants, adding the energy performance of the mechanical room to the gains at the envelope.
